Trustees
he role of the Trustees
In accordance with the requirements of the Charity Commission Positive Health (Lincolnshire) has a small board of Trustees. There are currently six members who meet with the chief officer on a regular basis. Together these trustees have given in excess of 60 years combined service to the charity. The role of the trustees is an executive rather than a managerial one. The trustees do not normally involve themselves in the day to day management of the charity but rather in its strategical development. However, the trustees are involved in the selection, interviewing and welfare of the staff and volunteers.

Freddie White
Chair
Freddie joined the trustees in 1998. He was invited to do so by the then Chairman, Mr John Evans, who was interested in his professional educational background and the skills and knowledge from this that he could bring to the organisation. When John retired in 2001 Freddie was elected to replace him as Chairman; a role he has continued to perform. During his work in schools he has had the opportunity to introduce sexual health educational initiatives to meet the needs of young people pioneered and supported by Positive Health (Lincolnshire).
